Debbie Hammond

I have been very lucky to have travelled to some amazing places around the world and, in addition to my holiday hotspots I have lived and worked in Cyprus for a few years. I have worked in all aspects of travel from teaching in a University to working with tourist boards, tour operators and hoteliers from around the globe and now I enjoy working from home running my own travel agency and being part of an amazing group.

Training for me is an on-going process and I dedicate much of my time to studying various training modules which helps me to keep my product knowledge up to date and means that I have earned a number of certificates along the way for destination training and have successful passed a number of travel examinations.

I am particularly proud of my university degree in Small Business and Marketing. I have won quite a few honours and awards over the years but my greatest honour to date was being nominated for Travel Agent of the Year. In addition to my travel work I have been lucky enough to be part of Demelza Children‘s Hospice and was part of the team who received the MBE for the Queens Jubilee Award for Voluntary Services, the MBE for Volunteer Group for Demelzer‘s Children's Charity. I was very proud indeed to be part of such a great team who do an amazing job.
