Dinarobin Golf Resort & Spa

Dinarobin Golf Resort & Spa

My Luxury Escape to Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa

Some places don’t just feel like a holiday — they feel like a reset button for your entire life. That’s exactly how I felt the moment I arrived at Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, tucked beneath the dramatic peak of Le Morne Brabant on Mauritius’ southwest coast. Even now, I can close my eyes and picture that sweeping driveway, the scent of frangipani in the air, and the soft hush of the ocean just beyond the palms.

A Resort That Feels Like a Sanctuary

Dinarobin has this rare ability to make you slow down without even trying. The suites are arranged in elegant crescents, each one feeling like its own private haven. My suite opened onto lush gardens and a view of the lagoon that looked like it had been painted just for me. Morning coffee on the terrace became a ritual — warm sun, gentle breeze, and that unmistakable sense of calm that only Mauritius seems to deliver.

But what truly elevated my stay were two things: the food and the spa.

A Culinary Journey I Still Think About

I’ve stayed in many luxury resorts, but Dinarobin’s dining genuinely stands out. Every meal felt like an experience, not just a plate of food.

L’Harmonie – My Daily Ritual

This became my go‑to spot for breakfast and dinner. Mornings were a feast of tropical fruit, fresh pastries, and made‑to‑order dishes that set the tone for the day. Evenings brought themed buffets that were anything but ordinary — vibrant flavours, beautifully presented dishes, and that magical lagoon‑side setting.

Il Gusto – Italian Romance in Mauritius

One night, I treated myself to dinner at Il Gusto, and it was unforgettable. Think handmade pasta, rich sauces, and a wine list that made choosing almost impossible. It felt intimate, warm, and wonderfully indulgent.

La Plage – Barefoot Luxury

Lunch here was a highlight. Fresh seafood, grilled specialities, and the sound of waves just metres away. There’s something about eating with your toes in the sand that makes everything taste better.

And the best part? Guests at Dinarobin can also dine at the neighbouring Paradis Beachcomber, opening up even more choice. It’s a foodie’s dream.

The Spa: A Place I Could Have Moved Into

If the food fed my soul, the Spa Beachcomber healed it. Nestled in tropical gardens, the spa feels like a hidden world — quiet, fragrant, and deeply restorative.

I booked a signature massage, and from the moment I stepped into the treatment pavilion, I felt myself exhale. Soft music, warm oils, expert hands… it was the kind of treatment that stays with you long after you leave the table. Afterwards, I lingered in the relaxation area, sipping herbal tea and wishing time would slow down just a little more.

The spa alone is enough reason to return.

Golf, Beaches & Endless Beauty

Even if you’re not a golfer, the setting of the Paradis Golf Course is breathtaking — sweeping greens framed by the ocean and mountains. I spent more time on the beach than the fairways, but the views were unforgettable either way.

The beaches here are some of the most beautiful I’ve seen: soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and plenty of quiet corners to claim as your own.

Why Dinarobin Still Calls Me Back

Dinarobin isn’t just a resort — it’s a feeling. A blend of elegance, tranquillity, and warm Mauritian hospitality that stays with you long after you’ve returned home. The food was exceptional, the spa was transformative, and the setting was nothing short of spectacular.

It’s the kind of place you don’t just visit once. You return to it, again and again, whenever you need to breathe a little deeper and reconnect with yourself.
