Climate

Typical of a Mediterranean climate, Greece's climate has hot and dry summers with cool winter weathers. Summers can be very hot with temperatures between 30 and 35°C in July and August. Winters are mild in the south and cooler in the mountainous northern areas. Rain is expected anytime from November to March.

Athens

Other highlights include Plaka which is built into the hillside below the Acropolis and is Athens’ oldest residential Quarter. Nearby you can visit The Temple of Poseidon and Delphi.
