The Stunning Iberostar Selection Es Trenc, Majorca🩡

We’ve just come back from the most dreamy 3-night escape at the brand new 5* Iberostar Selection Es Trenc in Majorca, and I couldn’t wait to share my thoughts while everything is still fresh (and while I’m still wishing I was by that pool instead of at my desk!).

We stayed on an all-inclusive basis in a superior sea view room, and oh my god, the room and that view blew me away. I did pay a little extra for the sea view upgrade, but honestly… I wasn’t expecting it to be that incredible. Picture floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the turquoise sea, I was genuinely speechless when we walked in. The dΓ©cor? 100% my vibe. Think soft neutrals, earthy tones, natural textures, and a super calming aesthetic. I’ve already decided our bathroom in the UK is getting a full Iberostar Es Trenc-inspired makeover when we move back!

✨ A Grown-Up Vibe Without Being Adults Only!

Although the hotel isn’t strictly adults-only, it’s definitely got an adult-focused feel. The whole place is peaceful, stylish, and designed for winding down. There’s one main buffet restaurant, which was lovely throughout our stay, plus an Γ  la carte restaurant that’s open Wednesday to Sunday. Sadly, we didn’t get to try it as we weren’t aware it was closed on Mondays and tried to book a table on Monday morning (note to self: plan ahead next time!) but the menu looked amazing. If you’re staying all-inclusive, drinks are included, and you also get 30% off the Γ  la carte food menu, which is a great little bonus if you fancy mixing things up one night.

The Star Prestige Perks ⭐

We upgraded to Star Prestige, as we’d secured a fab upgrade offer. The Star Prestige experience includes:
β€’ Access to the exclusive rooftop pool & bar area – a gorgeous, peaceful spot with panoramic views, comfy seating and chill-out vibes (note: no sunbeds up there though!).
β€’ Exclusive check-in/check-out zone
β€’ Higher floor rooms
β€’ Daily minibar top-ups
β€’ Γ€ la carte breakfast
β€’ Complimentary bike hire
β€’ Late check-out (subject to availability)
I’d say whether it’s worth it depends on the cost at the time of booking, for a small splurge, it could be a lovely touch of extra luxury, especially for couples.

πŸ“Location, Location…

The hotel is tucked away in the charming little resort of ColΓ²nia Sant Jordi, on Majorca’s quieter southern coast. It’s such a lovely, low-key area with a local, authentic vibe, think cute cafΓ©s, little boutiques, and a relaxed harbour atmosphere. You’re around a 10-minute walk from the port area, which has a handful of lovely restaurants and a gorgeous marina, and only about a 15-20 minute walk to the famous Es Trenc Beach, an absolute must-visit with its white sands and crystal-clear water. It honestly felt like we’d found a little slice of the Caribbean in the Med!

Final ThoughtsπŸ’

We had such a gorgeous few days, and my only complaint is… it wasn’t long enough! I could have happily stayed for a week or more. Whether it’s me getting older or just the pace of life being so full-on these days, I’m starting to appreciate these smaller, more intimate hotels where everything feels calm and considered. I completely switched off here and that’s the ultimate test of a good break, isn’t it? If you’re looking for somewhere stylish, relaxing, and just that little bit special, I’d 100% recommend Iberostar Selection Es Trenc. It’s a real hidden gem, and I’ll be back.
