Baros, Maldives
Baros, Maldives
With only 75 villas this small and Intimate resort is perfect for those after a true Maldivian experience with excellent service to match. The lead-in villa is a deluxe villa to sleep 2 and the newly built 2-bed suite is due for completion by September. There’s also an option of beach villas with pools over water villas with and without pools and the ultimate Baros residence, so there’s a great choice to choose from. There are no children under the age of 8 at Baros so it adds to the calmness and serenity that the island offers, with a gym, a spa and weekly activities there’s still a great number of things to do.
The food here at Baros is offered on bed and breakfast, half board and half board dine around. Our first evening was Maldivian night which was set up outside with a low-lit atmosphere and I chose a prawn curry which was made to order and was gorgeous. The last night we ate at the spectacular lighthouse restaurant situated over the water this a la carte dining experience is not one to be missed and also offers a wine pairing menu. When dining on half board you have the option to eat here complimentary once every 4 nights.
We finished the day on a dolphin sunset cruise and I must say this has to be the highlight of this Maldives trip. Wow, to see so many dolphins in their habitat, swimming and diving about we even had a few performers spinning up in the air 🐬 it was the perfect end to this amazing experience
