Whether you choose Seaplane of Domestic Flight and Speedboat Transfer, in either case you'll be taken care of the moment you step out of Male airport and get received by the Hideaway beach reps.
A welcome drink is well in order after your long flight and then it's off to the lounge where you can kick back and chill, watch the seaplanes taking off and leave the worries to the staff who will organise your luggage and take you to the seaplane or domestic flight when it's ready.

A couple of things to note, seaplanes only fly in daylight and calm conditions, the plane journey is 1 hr 15 mins and you need to be able to get up the narrow steps onto the snug seaplane. If you don't like small spaces or cannot step up high steps, choose the Domestic Flight and Speedboat option.

The staff will greet you waving from the dock and you'll enjoy a welcome drink and a briefing on the island and what you can expect.
Next up it's a buggy trip to your chosen room, where you'll find your luggage waiting for you.

Hideaway Beach has different board options from Breakfast only to their All Inclusive White Platinum Plan. You'll notice the high standard of cuisine and many options available for dietary requirements. There are 5 bars/restaurants including Buffet options and you can enjoy in room dining and Floating breakfast experiences by request and for an extra fee.

You can cycle the entire island within about 15 mins on one of the included Bicycles you'll find at your accommodation, but your attentive butlers will also give you a tour and take you by Buggy to wherever you fancy going!

You won't want to the watersports, as all non motorised are included. There's an entire beach dedicated to fun on the waves.

Tip - Grab fins and snorkelling gear when you arrive and take advantage of the underwater vistas!

Pristine Location – Untouched Maldives at its Best
With its pristine white sandy beaches, crystal clear lagoons, world famous underwater marine life and a lush tropical vegetation growing on the islands, the Maldives is often referred to as the ‘last paradise on Earth’.

Due to its location up in the North of Maldives – away from hustle and bustle of Central Maldives, the abundance of fish life around this Maldives resort is second to none making it a prime location for snorkelling and scuba diving. The resort also has a very easy access to the house reef, and it also has a special double house-reef just a few metres away.

Since the region is not so commercially packed, the vicinity of the resort is teeming with wildlife to observe and there are also great spots for Sport Fishing and Fishing for Sustenance.

There are in total around 30 exceptional dive sites accessible from the resort, especially one to note is the famous Heaven and Hell dive..

TIP- If you want to enjoy diving here be sure to get a basic qualification before heading out to the Resort so you can enjoy time in the water not in the classroom
