Tucked into a verdant hillside above the Indian Ocean, Ratna House combines tranquil coastal privacy with direct access to the sands of Jungle Beach. Framed by tall coconut palms and lush tropical canopy, the property looks out across expansive sea views, benefiting from a private pathway leading straight down to swimmable waters.

Outdoor living centres around an impressive 20-metre infinity pool, complete with a dedicated jumping deck, poolside massage room, and comfortable built-in terrace seating. For open-air dining, a shaded stone pavilion provides a dedicated eating area, supported by a gas barbecue, sink, and fridge for casual meals. Guests can relax completely as full cook and breakfast service is included, prepared by the villa team in a separate ground floor kitchen to offer an authentic taste of Sri Lankan cuisine without lifting a finger. High above, a large roof terrace features hammocks, built-in lounge seating, and a spacious bar area tailored for evening drinks at sunset or morning yoga overlooking the ocean.

Inside, warm polished floors, exposed timber ceilings, and traditional Sri Lankan antiques set an authentic, grounded tone. The main living spaces open directly to shaded upper verandahs, taking full advantage of the ocean breeze. Across three main levels, the accommodation sleeps up to ten guests in five air-conditioned, en suite bedrooms, including two first-floor king rooms with private verandahs, as well as a second-floor suite, king room, and twin room.

While car hire is not essential thanks to the direct beach access and catered service, local amenities are within easy reach. Weligama lies just 3km along the coast for local cafes and shops, while vibrant Ahangama, known for its world-class surfing, is 6km away. Further afield, the freshwater shores of Koggala Lake are a short drive away, and historic Galle Fort sits 25km to the west.
