Located just a few kilometres from Galle, Rambutan is a seven bedroom villa with breathtaking views over the surrounding lush jungle and picturesque paddy fields. Perched majestically on a high hill, the villa provides unparalleled privacy alongside matchless southwesterly vistas. Its stunning location on a tropical, palm-fringed beach makes it the perfect retreat for guests seeking a tranquil stay in paradise.

Rambutan was recently renovated with an emphasis on comfort, incorporating new furnishings and small details into every corner of the villa to feel more like a home for its guests. On the ground floor, the open plan living and dining area allow for the space to truly open up, inviting conversations between guests to be had more freely, without architectural restrictions. Also on this level, an air-conditioned library and work space provide quiet spots for guests to relax, and the villa’s kitchen can be found here too. With cook service included in your stay, enjoy fresh tropical fruit from the local area, or indulge in a wide variety of seafood straight from the Indian Ocean. Our highly accomplished in-house chef is available to cook both western and local dishes, as per your wishes. The first floor of the main house is home to a total of four en suite bedrooms, each with air-conditioning and a spacious layout, with two of the four having balcony access, overlooking the swimming pool and a distant tropical canopy. The lower garden level features three more en suite bedrooms, alongside a games room with table tennis.

Outside, the floodlit hard surface games court provides the perfect spot for guests to play a game of football, cricket, badminton or basketball. The large swimming pool sits before the main house, overlooked by a poolside dining pavilion, perfect for evening meals at home. The garden house hosts a state of the art gym and massage room. Nearby several shops and restaurants can be found in Galle, as well as in the local area. The nearest airport to the villa is just a 90 minute drive away, and there’s also an ancient Buddhist temple, believed to be more than 2000 years old, just minutes away from the villa when driving.
