Climate

Spain is one of the warmest countries in Europe, where you can usually expect dry summers and constant cooler temperatures during the winter months. As Spain is known for it's geographical diversity, the climate can often vary throughout. The north of Spain tends to receive temperatures of around 25 degrees. Whereas in the high regions of the country, the climate gets harsher and snowfall is normally seen from the beginning of winter and into spring. Places such as the Iberian Mountains and the Pyrenees are places that are effected by a cooler climate. The Canary Islands are typically warmer in winter than Spain's mainland.

Carnaval

Carnaval takes place usually at the end of February, during the week leading up to Lent. This is a lively event in the Spanish calendar where you'll see amazing parades with fantastic costumes and fabulous parties. The island of Tenerife is famed as having one Spain's biggest carnival, lasting a whole three weeks!

Ibiza

The most popular party destination in Europe, situated off the coast of Spain. Dance the night away before catching the sunset in one of Ibiza's trendy beach clubs while you listen to the chill-out tunes.

Madrid

The Royal Palace of Madrid has a rich history dating back to the ninth century. It is considered to be one of the finest palaces in Europe featuring rich interior decoration and frescoes by leading artists.
