I‘ve always believed that travel is about so much more than simply booking a holiday. It's about the excitement of having something to look forward to, the memories you make, and those little details that make a trip truly special.

I've worked in the travel industry since I was a teenager. After studying Leisure & Tourism, I went straight into a travel agency, never imagining at the time that the travel bug would stay with me for the rest of my life!

In fact, I'm pretty sure every conversation I have eventually leads to, "Where's on your list?" or "Where have you been?"

I just can't help it!

A Little About My Travels

I've been lucky enough to experience some amazing destinations over the years.

Australia was a week-long eco-tour. Yes, I really travelled all that way for just one week! I've also explored Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi in Malaysia, although Borneo remains firmly at the top of my bucket list, where I'd love to see orangutans in their natural habitat one day.

I've visited Hong Kong for just two nights to tour a Silversea cruise ship, enjoyed a multi-centre holiday in Thailand on a very special trip with my two daughters, including the incredible Elephant Hills, and honeymooned in New York and Mexico, which was such a fantastic combination.

Sri Lanka is where my love for elephants began, while the Cayman Islands gave me the unforgettable experience of swimming with stingrays. I also fell in love with Grenada, affectionately known as the "Spice Island".

Closer to home, I've enjoyed many family beach holidays across Europe, including Spain, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Montenegro, and Turkey, with several destinations earning repeat visits. I've also enjoyed plenty of city breaks and cruises with my family.

Norway is a truly special destination and a cruise there is something I would highly recommend to everyone. I've also visited Disneyland Paris six times... and counting!

My Next Adventure

After 24 years in the travel industry, I've decided the time is right to take the next step and launch my own travel business with Designer Travel.

For me, it's all about making the whole experience feel personal. I care about the little things and will always go the extra mile to look after the details that can make such a difference while you're away.
