More About Costa Blanca

The Costa Blanca, sometimes referred to as the White Coast is an ever-popular luxury destination for holidaymakers with many visitors choosing to return year after year. Offering the best weather in the Spanish Costas, there are lively destinations to visit as well as plenty of countryside to explore plus historical sites and, of course, an abundance of beautiful beaches. Benidorm is always a popular choice as it has such a huge choice of hotels, bars, restaurants, cafes and theme parks. The two main beaches are very well maintained and there‘s a wonderful promenade where you can take a leisurely stroll each day. Activity junkies can try their hand at the watersports on offer or you can simply relax and soak up the Spanish sun. Alicante is brimming with visitors and it's easy to see why - a palm-lined esplanade, a fantastic choice of eateries, markets, a bustling marina and one of the largest medieval fortresses in Europe with amazing views across the city. Quieter regions, villages and coastal towns provide a lovely retreat for those seeking a more leisurely-paced break and Torrevieja is a perfect resort for golf enthusiasts. If you want to stay close to Benidorm, Finestrat is perfect - a charming village with colourfully painted houses and narrow cobbled streets. The old fishing village of Calpe is embracing modern tourism and offers easy access to a good choice of sandy beaches. The towering rock of Ilfach dominates the coastline and is a truly impressive sight. This is a more laid-back resort so a good choice if you're looking to chill out and unwind. Getting around is easy as pie as there is a well-established network of trains, buses and trams. Car hire is a good option if you want to explore inland as the roads are generally in good order and well signposted.
