Easyjet will be flying Luton to Essaouira from May, booking are on sale now. UK tourists have up until  now, had to fly into Marrakesh and then transfer by coach 178 Kilometres taking approximately 3 hours, well not now. You can fly there directly ! You may wonder where is Essaouira?   Essaouira is a beautiful 18th century walled town with beautiful sandy beaches on the coast of Morocco. With big Atlantic waves its a must for  surfers. It UNESCO listed centre is home to a historic walled medina, for that authentic shopping experience , you will find this a more gentle experience than other cities big souks. Jimmy Hendrix famously spent time here in the late 60 's and you will find the city still retains this bohemian spirit. Why not do a two centre holiday flying into Marrakesh and then spend a few days relaxing at Essaouira , now you can do this with out having to go back to Marrakesh, allowing more time to enjoy your holiday.
