Why everyone should experience at least one Regent Seven Seas Cruise in their lifetime

Last Wednesday I set off for my first cruise adventure with a luxury 6* Cruise Company - Regent Seven Seas. I flew from London Stansted with Ryan Air to Rome (the fight itself - my first with Ryan Air was fairly good and efficient) and transferred to Civitavecchia - the main port serving cruise ships which depart from Rome. The transfer took just over an hour.

We boarded the ship after we had shown our passports, Covid health pass and the confirmation that we had taken our pre-departure antigen test.

The ship was called Voyager and I was allocated a beautiful suite on deck 10. The ship has 11 decks, it has a welcoming spacious and luxurious feel about it. My Suite was sumptuous and luxurious with branded toiletries and a welcome bottle of champagne chilled and waiting for me.

There are three speciality restaurants on board, Italian, French and an American Steak House called Prime 7. If you love to eat amazing food then you will love your Voyager experience.

All drinks are included with premium brands freely available - so if you enjoy a tipple then you can indulge in spirits, champagne or fine wines - the range was amazing.

All your excursions are included in the price of your original cruise and we would strongly recommend that these are pre-booked well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Our trip took us from Rome to Corsica where we had an opportunity to explore the island and visit the Prunelli river gorges - the scenery was spectacular and the organisation was like clockwork. The tour was described in-depth and the physical requirements requirements for the trip are well set out so that you can make the right decision.

From Corsica we headed off back to Rome - it might have only been a short trip but it was so worthwhile (we got to experience a sail away party and the on-board entertainment).
