✨ Milan – So much more than just fashion 🖤🇮🇹

We’ve been lucky enough to visit Milan a few times now, and it’s a city that keeps surprising me. While it’s known as the fashion capital of Italy, there’s so much more to it than designer boutiques and catwalks.

🌉 My favourite area? The Navigli District – hands down!

If you’re heading to Milan, you have to check out the canal area (Navigli) – it’s a completely different vibe from the bustling city centre. Think pretty waterways, charming little bridges, buzzing aperitivo spots and that real local, laid-back Milanese feel. It’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon strolling or to enjoy an evening drink as the sun goes down.

🏛️ Iconic sights to tick off your list

Of course, no visit would be complete without seeing the Duomo, it’s absolutely breathtaking both inside and out. Plus, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a must for a little wander (even if it’s just for window shopping under that beautiful glass dome!).

💫 A stylish but surprisingly soulful city

Milan really is a city of contrasts, modern and historic, grand yet intimate. It’s ideal for a city break or as a starting point for exploring northern Italy (with Lake Como, Verona, and the Dolomites all within easy reach!).
