I have just returned from an educational at Lily Beach resort & Spa in the Maldives.

A 25 minute sea plane journey from Male, it is located on the private island of Huvahendhoo in the South Ari Atoll, the island sits on an unspoiled house reef just a few metres away from its shores.

Lily Beach is a small island but offers so much including a premium all-inclusive board basis with an extensive list of wines and spirits. Lily Maa - this is the resort main restaurant, comprising of a good variety of buffet spreads and themed dinners.

Vibes Bar - has a large deck and two swimming pools and offers a perfect location for guests including families with younger travellers to relax and enjoy the facilities there.

Tamarind - à la carte restaurant which offers popular dishes from the Orient and India. An absolute stunning setting overlooking the water.

Aqva Bar - located on the sunset side of Lilly Beach resort and spa, the bar is a favourite chillout spot overlooking the beautiful infinity pool. This is an adult only designated area.

Teppanyaki - guests can sit around the Teppanyakiiron griddle and watch the chefs cook delicious food before your eyes.

A Japanese dining experience not to be missed.

Les Turquoise D’Aqua - offers fine dining experiences combining contemporary cuisine with the peacefulness of the setting overlooking the water.

The Spirit Bar - the main bar in the resort this is a perfect place to unwind and relax after a busy day.

Tamara Wellness Spa - the spa is over water in a beautiful setting with glass floors, enabling you to watch the sea life whilst having a massage. The spa has won world luxury spa awards.

Activities

The island has a great range of water sports and a tennis court too if you would like your feet on dry land.

There is also regular daily yoga sessions.

Lily Beach Resort and Spa is definitely the island for you if you want to relax and be not too far from Male. The island has an abundant array of watersports and diving options.
