Stylish, spacious and very sea view-chic, Villa Malikani is made up of two separate buildings on the edge of Kalkan’s charming old town. Less than a five-minute stroll from delicious local restaurants, winding backstreets and a small pebble beach, this gorgeous stone property certainly stands out from the traditional whitewashed houses of this hillside bay. It’s almost all about the sea views at this sleek four-bedroom villa – every terrace, seating spot or outdoor relaxation area is a complete sun trap, and all bask in uninterrupted views of the Med. A gorgeous infinity pool equipped with loungers and umbrellas, a Jacuzzi/shallow pool, and a gas barbecue for warm al fresco meals complete the property’s spacious garden area.

The villa inside is furnished with quality antiques and artworks and made up of the 2-level main building and the 3 floors of the adjacent second house. A wonderfully open plan kitchen and dining area takes centre stage on the ground floor of the main house. Very contemporary in style, with sleek wooden furnishings and a large fridge/freezer and coffee machine, the room continues around the corner to the brightly coloured living room – there’s plenty of sofa space for evening relaxation, plus easy access to the pool terrace outside. A flight of stairs lead up to a gorgeous double bedroom – a quirky glass-windowed en suite, with an adjustable privacy screen, includes a generous walk-in shower, and huge doors lead out to two beautiful sun terraces with views overlooking the bay and Kalkan. The second building houses the further three bedrooms – a double bedroom and twin room, both with a private en suite on the ground floor, along with a small kitchenette for added comfort and privacy. A further double bedroom with en suite shower room (similar in style to the one in the main building) completes the first floor level, while a games room with a table tennis table and air conditioned gym area makes up the building’s lower ground floor level.
