Viva las Vegas with the Family
Viva las Vegas with the Family
With a warm dry climate all year, it's no wonder people flock to Vegas for some well-deserved sunshine! It might not be your first thought as a family-friendly destination but there is lots to do for a family-friendly holiday.
Viva Las Vegas! Fancy escaping to the bright lights of Vegas but don’t want to spend all your time in a casino? Don’t let the reputation of being an adult party place put you off travelling with your family. I went as an 11-year-old and had such an amazing experience. It was family-friendly (except for the casinos) and honestly, a holiday that I haven’t forgotten and have so many fond memories of.
So what is there to do for families? It’s a near never-ending list! Most hotels have lots of family-friendly visits for you, even if you aren’t staying in that hotel. There are so many options, from Hershey’s Chocolate World at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino to the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
For slightly older families, there are some great rides and amusement parks to visit, such as The Strat Hotel, Casino, and Tower, Adventuredome at Circus Circus, and The Big Apple Roller Coaster at New York New York Hotel and Casino. And don't forget about the family-friendly shows like Cirque Du Soleil or Tournament of Kings that you can pre-book!
For those who like to keep cool in the water, there are many pools and splash parks to choose from. Catering from toddler splash mats to Kamakaze slides for the older families Vegas has got you covered!
