Seaside Finolhu Maldives

Welcome to Seaside Finolhu Maldives 😳 Wow, wow, wow 🔥 Having never been to the Maldives before this place has blown me away, just 35 minutes by seaplane from Male airport and we arrived at the beautiful beaches of Finolhu. I’m staying in an ocean lagoon villa and I’ve already told Frankie and the kids I’m not coming home 😂

This island offers luxury with a laid-back feel, with speciality dining, a kids club, tennis courts, an outdoor gym, sunrise yoga sessions, a giant inflatable waterpark and non-motorised water sports, you won’t be bored of things to do, or if lying on a beautiful sunbed gazing at the crystal clear ocean is the top of your list then finolhu is the perfect beauty spot 🤍

On our first night we hopped on the boat over to Crab Shack for sunset pre-dinner drinks and canapés and a DJ spinning the laid-back tunes before we headed back to Kanusan for one of the best Japanese meals I’ve had in a long time 🍱 Tomorrow we get to see more of the rooms including 2 bed villas to sleep 8, beach villas and the ultimate rockstar villa 🤘 I’m pretty impressed, to say the least, and I think the picture speak for themselves.

Today we had a chance to have a look at the whole of Seaside Funolfu Resort and everything it has to offer From a lead-in lagoon villa, and beach villas to a 2-bed rockstar lagoon pool villa 🪩 complete with a rockstar bar 2 bathrooms, a huge infinity pool and its own Rolls Royce self-drive buggy cart 😳

The aroma in the Feni spa hit you as soon as you walked in and the smell of the air conditioning was a welcome relief from the 35 degrees heat you felt relaxed as soon as you entered, offering a range of treatments, guests are free to use the sauna, steam room and pool complimentary and just pay for any treatments added. 🧘‍♀️

Let’s talk about the kids, finolhu has a brand new teens club arriving this November which will be a perfect addition to this fabulous resort, they are extending the current children’s club which is for ages 4-10 and it currently houses a pool with slide, bikes, board games a park, an art studio and even has an air-conditioned bedroom should they wish to take a nap, it’s fantastic

We took the little boat across the island to crab shack for lunch and had the divine lobster roll, the crab shack is just a vibe with a cool DJ playing, exceptional food and service and barefoot dining, I’m sure you’ll be eating here more than once 🦀

We ended the day with a sunset cruise and dinner at the buffet restaurant and the theme this evening was Maldivian night, the speciality dish had to be banana curry 🍌, it was divine. The entertainment was traditional dancing and a fire show, and was the perfect end to a perfect stay.

As soon as we arrived at Finolhu it felt like home, luxury with a relaxed feel and I wouldn’t hesitate bringing Frankie and the boys back to experience everything it has to offer 🤍
