MSC Seaview Cruise Review – My Experience from Start to Finish
MSC Seaview Cruise Review – My Experience from Start to Finish
I’ve recently returned from a few nights onboard MSC Seaview and honestly came away really impressed with the ship overall.
Our trip started with a flight from Gatwick to Milan, followed by a coach transfer to Genoa, where we boarded the ship. Embarkation did take a little while, but once onboard the ship itself definitely had that “wow” factor.
MSC Seaview is huge with 19 decks and over 5,000 passengers, but surprisingly,y it never felt too overwhelming. There were always quieter spots to escape to if you wanted a more relaxed atmosphere, which I really liked.
I stayed in a balcony cabin on the Fantastica package, and for me,e this was a really good middle-ground option. The cabin itself was modern, comfortable and had plenty of storage space, and I honestly don’t think I could cruise now without a balcony!
MSC offer different package options, including Bella, Fantastica, Aurea and Yacht Club,b depending on the type of experience you want. After looking around, I’d probably say Aurea is worth considering for the added extras, especially the spa access and more flexibility.
We also had the Premium Drinks Package, which definitely suited us — especially with the amount of lovely bars onboard! My favourite spots were probably the Champagne Bar and Seaview Lounge, as they both had such a lovely atmosphere in the evenings.
Food-wise, there were loads of choices between the main dining restaurant, buffet and speciality dining. We tried Teppanyaki one evening, and that was probably one of my favourite experiences onboard. The chefs cook everything fresh in front of you whilst entertaining everyone at the same time, so it feels much more like an experience than just going for dinner.
There was plenty onboard for families to include,o including kids clubs, waterslides, pools and even a zip line, but I also think it works really well for couples because there are lots of quieter lounges and adult-friendly spaces too.
During the cruise, we stopped in both Barcelona and Marseille,e which were both lovely ports to visit.
Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and would happily cruise with MSC again. I think MSC Seaview is a great option for both families and couples, especially if you want a modern ship with lots going on, whilst still being able to find places to relax.
