A Warm Welcome at Asimina Suites

I recently spent a few nights in Paphos, staying at the stunning Asimina Suites Hotel. From the private transfer to the sea-view rooms, everything was spot on. We kicked things off with welcome cocktails and dinner, setting the tone for a relaxing and fun trip.

Hotel Visits 

We also had the chance to visit the other Constantinou Bros Hotels: Pioneer Beach, Athena Beach, and Athena Royal Beach. Each hotel had its own style and atmosphere, but all shared the same high standards, from stylish rooms to great service and facilities. It was clear that attention to detail and guest comfort are top priorities across the group.

Cooking, Cocktails & a Taste of Cyprus

One of my favourite experiences was a hands-on cooking class with the hotel’s Executive Chef. We learned to make traditional Cypriot dishes including Lamb Kleftiko and got to enjoy them for lunch!. We came away with the recipes so I will definitely be giving these a try at home! That evening, we enjoyed a BBQ dinner at the Athena Royal Beach Hotel where we had great food, live entertainment, and it had a really fun vibe. We ended the day with cocktails in Paphos Old Town, soaking up the local nightlife.

Exploring Paphos & the Mountains

We also had a full-day tour that took us to Aphrodite’s Rock, and the ancient Kourion amphitheatre which is still used for events today, the views from there were absolutely stunning. We stopped in the village of Omodos for wine tasting at Ktima Gerolemo, a small family-run winery. The atmosphere was lovely, and I couldn’t resist buying some local wine and olive oil to bring home. From there we visited Timios Stavros Monastery before stopping for lunch at Stou Kir Yianni, a lovely traditional restaurant. The food, setting, and warm hospitality really stood out.

Final Thoughts

This trip was a perfect mix of relaxation, culture, and great food. If you‘re planning a visit to Cyprus, I’d definitely recommend Paphos and a stay at Asimina Suites Hotel, I came home with some lovely memories and a few local goodies too!
