Anthem Of the Seas Weekend Cruise

Anthem Of the Seas Weekend Cruise

Anthem of the Seas 🛳️ 2 Night Eurovision Cruise to Le Havre

Embarkation was as seamless as ever, we arrived at ABP parking parked in the car and the luggage handlers took our cases from the boot and whisked them off for us. We passed through security and passport control and were on the ship within 10 minutes 🙌🏼

The weather during this weekend could not have been more perfect, so we headed straight up to the pool deck to enjoy some cocktails in the sun ☀️ and the Caribbean band 🎸

Our rooms were ready by 1:30 pm and our luggage was waiting outside our cabin. We opted for a balcony stateroom on deck 11 and it was perfect. Spacious with a king bed and a sofa bed, plenty of storage and a balcony with 2 loungers.

This cruise wasn‘t your average Royal Caribbean cruise being just 2 nights so there were lots of groups, stags and hens and had a huge party atmosphere 🪅.

We ate in the main dining room and were served by Rio and Imade, whose service was Amazing 🤩

Lots is going on around the ship, Eurovision dance classes, battle of the sexes game show, silent disco, karaoke, spectres cabaret and we will rock you, as well as pianists in the schooner bar, Latin vibes at Boleros and guitarist in the Bock and Barrel pub, you won’t be stuck for entertainment that’s for sure. We Love cruising with all cruise lines but we do have a soft spot for Royal Caribbean it always feels like we are home on their ships 🫶

Anthem of the seas, you didn’t disappoint 🛳️🤩. We last sailed this ship in March 2018 and she is just as beautiful now as it was then 🤍. The Quantum class ships just have the most amazing style and elegance whilst this 2 night break was more of a ‘booze cruise’ she still didn’t lack any style or charisma and the service, food, drinks, entertainment, cabins, and company didn’t disappoint.

The weather in Le Havre hit 27 degrees, with the Caribbean band belting out the tunes and with a frozen mojito in hand, it felt like we were halfway across the world 🏝️🍹 ‘We will rock you’ definitely was one of the highlights this weekend with a spectacular cast we thoroughly enjoyed it 🤘🎸. We also had the most amazing views from the North Star, this is free but books up fast so make sure you reserve your spot via the Royal Caribbean app as soon as you board ✨.

We ate dinner at Chops Grille, one of Royal Caribbean's signature steak houses and features on most of their ships. The meal was divine and our waitress Evelyn was more than attentive we were never without an empty glass and we walked away with full tummies. The food was the best we’d eaten all weekend, even though we never had a bad meal.

It was a whirlwind couple of days but we came away with the best memories from the most fantastic ship 🫶 For any questions top tips or hints please feel free to drop me a DM
