Hello, It’s a pleasure to introduce myself to you.

I’m Julie and I’ve been part of the travel sphere for almost 35 years. Much of my time has been spent working for the same, small independent travel agency. Combined with this, I had the privilege to work for one of the UK’s leading Luxury Tour operators, contributing to giving me a deeper understanding of how to really embrace being a personal travel advisor, getting to know about you and what’s most important when booking your holiday.

I’ve been under what can only be described as a spell of wanderlust, for as long as I can remember. Throughout my career, I have extensively travelled and appreciated many global destinations, collecting a wealth of cultural wisdom on my way. I want to share with you some of my own personal travel experiences, showcasing my knowledge and expertise. I want to talk to you with excitement, to influence and inspire your choices and build a credible relationship with you, starting with that all important conversation!

There’s so many unforgettable adventures and experiences that I’ve had, far too many to list but a few of my highlights being: touring Israel and the Holy Land, visiting the Taj Mahal, Indian Ocean island hopping, driving the Amalfi Coast, alongside my all-time favourite being New York City.

The Pandemic was an unexpected time for all of us, almost decimating travel completely and I, like many of my industry colleagues, were forced to find alternative employment in other business sectors. I craved to return back to travel from the day that I left. Designer Travel has given me that perfect opportunity be back firmly where I belong.

Being a Business Associate, and working independently, lets me have total flexibility and freedom to offer you a much more personal and truly bespoke travel service, allowing me to dedicate my time during and outside conventional office hours, at a time that suits you.
