Of course, the Maldives are renowned for having some of the best reefs for diving and snorkelling. There‘s so much for beginners and more advanced enthusiasts with the colourful reefs and diverse marine life of the North and South Ari Atoll. The Dive School offers PADI certified courses ad there are regular night dives, half and full day trips and guided snorkelling opportunities.

A wide-range of non-motorised watersports are on offer including windsurfing, catamaran sailing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boat.

You can explore further afield by taking an excursion - perhaps big game fishing or a sunset cruise. You can even privately charter your own boat and plan your own day to your exact wishes.

Kandolhu is an intimate resort with just 30 villas, each featuring local design with modern interiors and having either direct beach access or clear ocean views. All villas have a king-sized bed, air conditioning/fant, iPad for guest use, iPad and iPhone sound dock, flat-screen TV, minibar and mini in-villa wine cellar, Espresso machine, kettle, hairdryer, electronic safe, iron and ironing board, bath and beach towels, bathrobes, slippers, bathroom amenities, complimentary Wi-Fi, sundeck, sunloungers.

Jacuzzi Beach Villas

These villas have a spacious open air garden bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub, shower and twin vanity. A second outdoor shower is set in the garden. The front veranda has a daybed, dining area and adjoining sundeck.

Lavish Pool Villas face the East and have a king-sized bed facing the pool and lagoon beyond.

Villas have an expansive wardrobe, large open-air bathroom with freestanding bath, shower, twin vanity and outdoor garden shower. The large veranda has an outdoor daybed and the deck houses a 9 sqm pool plus sunloungers and dining area.

Two-storey villas located on the West of the island. The ground level has a dedicated living area with daybed, large wardrobe, garden bathroom with shower, twin vanity and freestanding bath plus a separate outdoor shower. The front veranda has an outdoor daybed and dining area. The 18 sq m pool is surrounded by a separate terrace with sunloungers.

The upper level has a spacious bedroom and second bathroom, balcony, outdoor daybed and stunning ocean views.

The epitome of luxurious living, Ocean Pool Villas face the sunset and are reached by a private walkway and have an oversized bedroom with king bed, day bed and walk-in wardrobe, bathroom with shower, twin vanity and bathtub plus a sliding door which opens up to the outdoor deck.

The private deck has sunloungers, a sun umbrella and a 7 sq m plunge pool.
