Kurumba operates one of the Maldives’ most advanced recycling centres. Glass is ground and reused in construction, plastics and metals are shredded for recycling, and green waste is mulched for use in the gardens. Kitchen waste is composted within hours and repurposed across the resort and nearby islands.
