Constance Lemuria, Praslin Island

Only a short hope from mainland Male, either by a 50min boat ride or 15min flight, you will find the stunning Praslin Island. The second largest island of the Inner Seychelles and home to Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its coco de mer, a monocot tree that has the largest seeds (double nut seed) of any plant in the world.

We were very fortunate to celebrate my big birthday at the divine, world-class 5* Constance Lemuria. From a flawless 18-hole championship golf course to a tranquil spa, you can relax and enjoy the wide range of facilities that this elegant retreat has to offer including four eateries and five bars with a lagoon-shaped pool. The service was incredible from our gorgeous bedroom to the fantastic kids club to the pristine beaches and of course the very friendly and helpful staff – both adults and children absolutely loved staying at Constance Lemuria and did not want to leave.

The famous 18-hole championship Golf Course is beautifully designed by Marc Antoine Farry and Rodney Wright with stunning terraced greens including their signature 15th hole – the tee shot plunges down a ravine to a green less than a wedge shot from the beach. This definitely helped persuade my husband when we were planning our holiday!

From crystal-clear, turquoise water and powder-white sand to beautiful, rugged nature trails and mountain – Praslin Island in the Seychelles should definitely be added to your bucket list!
