Bab Al Shams
Bab Al Shams
Only a 50-minute drive from Dubai Airport, you escape the city and find yourself in the captivating beauty of the Arabian desert. Take to the dunes for desert adventures, unwind in sun-kissed pools or relax in their tranquil spa.
Moorish-inspired interiors meet modern luxury and sweeping views of the desert. We stayed in a Desert Terrace Room which was perfect for our weekend away as we were on holiday with friends who were in the room next door, therefore the children were able to play in the small garden between the rooms while the adults enjoyed cocktails while watching the sunset.
There are an abundance of excellent dining options at Bab al Shams: Al Hadheerah – an open-air dining restaurant where you can enjoy Arabic entertainment & Middle Eastern cuisine under the stars.
Zala – excellent Mediterranean Restaurant where you can enjoy Turkish and Greek flavours. They also do an excellent brunch at Zala, perfect for families with camel rides and a playground to keep the children entertained.
Anwa – a rooftop lounge perfect for sunsets and Pan-Asian bites. This was always a top spot to bring friends & family visiting us when we lived in Dubai.
With 4 swimming pools including a kids’ pool, plunge pool, lap pool with swim-up bar and our favourite – infinity pool, where you will get lost in the mystical landscape views of the Arabian desert.
We loved our pool days, spa days, brunches and staycations at Bab Al Shams. Only 50min from all the tourist attractions in Dubai, you will be able to relax and unwind after a busy day sightseeing.
