Anthem!...A New Song for Southampton!

Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas is coming to the UK in 2015! She will be the largest ship ever to sail from Southampton, and undoubtedly one of the most fantastic! Between April and October she will be offering 20 cruises, of varying duration, which as you can imagine are selling fast! Seasoned cruisers will know how amazing the Royal Caribbean fleet is, how innovative and exciting, and how great their larger ships are particularly for families, and Anthem promises to offer even greater thrills such as.. North Star – a jewel-shaped capsule which is slowly and (gently) lifted up high above the ship and out over the water to 300 feet above sea level to enjoy the incredible 360° panoramic views of the ocean, the ship below and the amazing ports we visit. SeaPlex - the biggest sports and entertainment complex at sea. During the day it offers a full size basketball court and circus school, and then at night you can dash around it on roller skates or in bumper cars! All this with a DJ floating overhead providing great sounds! Bizarre! RipCord - skydiving at sea!...Its a simulator, but you can get a really exhilarating feeling of flying, with the air machine keeping you afloat and the wind blowing in your hair! All this is in addition to Royal Caribbean's much loved Flowrider, the 40ft climbing wall and their famous ice rink which still remain... As usual young people of all ages are wowed at every turn, with their fabulous clubs and activities. In addition Anthem has on offer the DreamWorks experience...with characters such as Shrek and Princess Fiona on board to make little ones' dreams come true. Royal Caribbean is known for its innovation and has created some fabulous new venues to enjoy... Two70 - billed as 'a venue like no other' is by day a relaxing place with a 270° panoramic ocean vistas, and at night a thrilling entertainment venue. By using digital projectors to change the scenery you will be transported far and wide, whilst watching fabulousr light shows and high-flying aerialists. Ice Bar - as its name suggests...a great place to cool off! Music Hall – this is the place for bands and solo artists to entertain you, and where the party nights and theme party nights are held. Again this is all in addition to the theatres, lounges and bars, spa, fitness suite etc etc which you would expect to see on a Royal Caribbean cruise. And then we come to the food - headlining is Jamie Oliver with his fabulous Italian experience! All together there are 18 restaurants and eateries, of which 11 are complimentary. The others have a small cover charge. Wherever you eat you can be assured of fantastic food choices and good quality. And so we come to the staterooms - Royal Caribbean are really set to WOW you with these!... How about an interior stateroom with a virtual balcony and window, projecting real-time video footage of the ocean onto an LED screen.
