Of the three, the French Village is the livliest, with popular music and pool games, the Dutch Village where we stayed, has a really quiet and chilled ambience, the Italian has probably the best beach, and the 'main pool' which is the largest zero-entry pool in Jamaica has a great atmosphere, a terrific swim-up bar and offers 'the best of all worlds.' As with all Sandals, there is so much to do, if you have the inclination...land based sports such as tennis and volley ball and water sports including sailing, windsurfing and water skiing. Sandals offers some of the best diving on Jamaica, and should you be PADI registered, you may dive up to twice a day at no additional charge! There is also a fully equipped fitness centre, if you feel the need to workout, although personally I prefer to 'work' in the wonderful Red Lane Spa, which offers a really tranquil atmosphere. Sandals offer a full range of massages and treatments at an additional charge. Sandals are renowned for their food options, and at Whitehouse this is no exception. Uniquely situated on a fabulous Venetian Piazza you will find a bistro, restaurants, ea cafe and bars offering authentic, and superb cuisine...French, Italian, Asian, Caribbean, European - you will be spoilt for choice. There are also six full service bars at Whitehouse so you are never far away from a drink from Sandals fully inclusive options, which include premium brands and even champagne. When the sun goes down the entertainment continues - Sandals Whitehouse has an amphitheatre, a piano bar, live shows and bands, a carnival party - the list goes on and of course the choice is yours. It is a bit of a trek to Sandals Whitehouse, the transfer time being between 1 1/2 - 2 hours, but you do get to see something of Jamaica, are driven there by a knowledgeable and friendly local, which is often a great entertainment in itself, and when you arrive you will, I'm sure, think your journey really was worth it, to enjoy the experience of the very popular Sandals Whitehouse.
