Drawing upon traditional Sri Lankan, Arabic and Swahili influences, the villa’s distinct architectural design makes the most of its dramatic ocean backdrop, with views visible from each of the villa’s five bedrooms. Nearby, the beach is a short walk away, alongside several great local dining options, making this a phenomenal choice for family stays.

Recently renovated, the villa’s interiors are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with a range of antiques, unique fabrics and rugs. Many of the interior spaces hold gorgeous golden earthy tones, working in harmony with the abundance of natural light and sea breezes flowing through the villa. The living room features a charming Romeo and Juliet balcony overlooking a cascading tropical garden and magnificent views, providing the ultimate backdrop for relaxed social evenings. Guests can enjoy incredible meals throughout their stay, to be enjoyed in the garden dining pavilion or on the dining deck under the stars. Indulge in fresh tropical fruit, or try a rich variety of seafood straight from the Indian Ocean. The five en-suite bedrooms are tastefully styled with a verandah for extraordinary ocean views, each with air-conditioning and mosquito nets. Up on the villa’s rooftop, the breezy lounge and bar area are perfect for winding down with some meditation or yoga, as is the villa’s dedicated spa area.

Outside, the infinity pool is flanked by graceful columns and bordered by a low cushion clad seating area, whilst a poolside massage room is a calm space for in-villa wellness treatments, for serene relaxation. Guests are encouraged to make the most of the villa’s location, perched within easy reach of excellent restaurants, cafes and a nearby beach. For fans of watersports, Weligama is home to one of the best surfing bays in all of Sri Lanka. There are several local tourist and cultural attractions in Galle, easily accessible by car. For more local activities, the concierge can arrange surfing, whale watching from Mirissa, biking through cinnamon and tea plantations, safaris, and much more.
