This delightful villa, surrounded by lovely natural gardens, is built from local stone and traditional materials, incorporating ancient roofing tiles, chestnut beams, doors, window frames and shutters. The property is finished to a high standard using traditional techniques, with rooms newly re-decorated in very comfortable contemporary style. The furniture throughout is top quality, sourced from well-known local or international brands, and the curtain materials sourced from the famous linen stores of Farfa locally. The kitchen has a highly contemporary feel, but with all the mod-cons needed for a relaxing stay, and there is a dining table as well as several al fresco dining areas. The covered terrace surrounded by gardens suggests the perfect breakfast spot and there is also a vegetable garden. The attractive pool area offers privacy, as well as stunning countryside views. There is a lovely double bedroom with views of the pool, and a shower room.

The Sabine Hills are an untouched pocket of central Italy with excellent inexpensive restaurants and superb walking. Our view is that this is a most attractive, private retreat suitable for those who would like to explore this authentic corner of Italy. The picturesque towns of Southern Umbria, Todi, Spello and Spoleto are within reach. The villa is also an excellent base for garden lovers - many historic villas and gardens are within easy reach: Bomarzo, Vignanello, Villa Lante, Villa Farnese as well as Tivoli and the villas of Frascati. Casale La Sabina is also within easy reach of Rome by train with magnificent museums, churches, exhibitions and excellent 'Made in Italy' shopping. There are also classical, blues, jazz music festivals often in magnificent locations.
