TTG Top 50 Fam Trip

A Memorable TTG Winners Fam Trip

I‘ve just returned from the most unforgettable few days in beautiful Malta, thanks to the TTG Winners Fam Trip-and I couldn‘t wait to share my experience! From the moment we took off from Manchester with easyJet, where the staff were incredibly friendly and professional, to the final sunset over the Mediterranean, this trip was packed with stunning sights, amazing food, and warm hospitality.

A Warm Maltese Welcome

Our Maltese adventure began the moment we landed. We were warmly greeted at the airport and whisked away to Ta' Xmun Olive Groves. This picturesque setting was the perfect introduction to the island's charm. We were given a fascinating tour of the groves, followed by a mouthwatering lunch paired with local wines-an authentic and delicious welcome that set the tone for the days ahead.

From there, we explored St John's Co-Cathedral, an absolute must-see in Valletta. The intricate

baroque interiors and Caravaggio masterpieces left us speechless. A guided & k around Valletta allowed us to soak in the rich history, vibrant streets, allowed us to soak in the rich history, vibrant streets, and impressive architecture.

A Luxurious Stay at Radisson Blu Golden

Sands

That evening, we checked into the Radisson Blu Golden Sands, and what a welcome it was! We enjoyed drinks on arrival before heading to our rooms-and I was absolutely blown away by my sea-view suite. Formerly a timeshare resort, this luxurious hotel offers a range of room types and boasts four restaurants, Vee bars, a five-star spa with an indoor pool, and even a private beach. The views of the coastline are simply breathtaking, and the level of service throughout our stay was impeccable.

Exploring Mdina by Night

Later, we headed to the ancient walled city of Mdina for an atmospheric evening walking tour. Its narrow, lamp-lit streets felt like stepping back in time. We capped the evening with a delicious dinner at Medina Restaurant, a hidden gem with warm service and traditional Maltese flavours.

Island-Hopping to Gozo

Day two took us on the ferry across to Gozo, where a day of adventure awaited. Our morning transport?

None other than Yippee Buggies, which provided a fun and exhilarating way to see the island. Highlights included the breathtaking Mixta Cave and the salt pans, both offering incredible photo opportunities.

Although rain meant we had to pivot from a beach picnic, the alternative indoor venue arranged by Gozo Picnics was nothing short of spectacular. The food, service, and ambience exceeded all expectations. After a bit of free time to explore Gozo's charm, we returned to Malta via ferry.

That evening, we travelled in style on a vintage bus

—a real showstopper! Dinner at Verbena Restaurant was another culinary highlight, with outstanding food and service in a beautiful setting.

Final Day: Blue Grotto & Farm-to-Table

Delights

Our final day included a visit to the Blue Grotto, a stunning natural wonder with crystal-clear waters and dramatic cliffs. We then visited Ta' Cicivetta Farm, where we enjoyed some fun group activities and another round of incredible food in a serene rural setting.

Back at the hotel, we ended our trip on a high note with a private terrace dinner overlooking the sea, accompanied by the soothing sounds of a live harpist. It was the perfect way to reflect on an unforgettable journey.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Manny, Audrey and Rosanne for organising such a seamless and inspiring trip. Their attention to detail, warmth, and hospitality made every moment special.
