I’m very lucky to call the Georgian town of Alresford in Hampshire my home, where I’m surrounded by my wonderful family and friends — they are my biggest cheerleaders!

Anyone who knows me will tell you I love a good plan — whether it’s a cozy weekend away or a big, splashy celebration, I pour the same care and attention into my clients’ holidays as I would my own. There’s nothing quite like that first enquiry — it’s when my imagination kicks into gear, and I start picturing how to make every detail of a trip truly special.

In my 34 years in travel, I’ve seen it all — from the classic coach trips and bucket-and-spade holidays to the rise of luxury ocean and river cruises, and now the wonderful world of multi-centre and Touring adventures. One thing that’s never changed? The magic of helping people make memories. These days, my clients are all about life experiences — whether it’s a big multi-generational getaway (which I think every family should try at least once!) or a solo trip full of self-discovery and new friendships.

I’ll admit it — I’m a bit fussy when it comes to who I work with. I partner only with tour operators I know will look after my clients as well as I would. Because when you’re away from home and need help, you want to speak to a real person who knows what they’re doing — not be left on hold to a call centre somewhere!

Being so close to Southampton, I’ve always had a soft spot for ocean cruising — and having cruised myself with my family, I can honestly say it’s one of our favourite ways to travel. River cruising, too, its having a moment (and rightly so!). I love matching each client to the perfect itinerary — with so much choice out there, getting it right is part of the fun!

As for me, some of my personal travel highlights include India, Borneo, Hawaii, and the Maldives — each one unforgettable in its own way. I’m also a sucker for a city break. This year, to celebrate a big birthday, a few of us jetted off to Kotor in Montenegro — and it completely stole my heart. A beautiful city full of charm, surprises, and the kind of memories that make you smile every time you think back.

Even after more than 30 years in travel, I still get just as excited about every trip I plan. From bucket-list adventures to quiet escapes, I love helping my clients turn travel dreams into treasured memories.

Because after all, the travel world is always changing — and that’s what keeps it exciting!
