Salvatore Boutique Villas & Suites, Parga

Salvatore Boutique Villas & Suites, Parga

The Salvatore Boutique Villas and Suites is a boutique-style hotel that is both intimate and beautiful. With only 38 rooms, set up high on the hillside above Parga, with views over the Bay at Valtos Beach. This hotel offers something quite different from the larger resort hotels in Par,ga as it has a real emphasis on privacy, personal service and providing a high-quality experience for both couples and families.

During our visit, we met Nonio who is the Reservations Manager, who was lovely and explainedthat the philosophy behind Salvatore is that it is very much about bringing nature inside and outside and making the experience personal for every guest from the moment they arrive.

The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with a calming decor and smells incredible! There is some great artwork in the hotel,l as Salvatore was an artist and his work is displayed in Reception, giving the hotel its own character and identity.

Rooms, Suites and Private Pool Villas

One of the biggest selling points of the Salvatore is its accommodation for larger families, particularly the villas. There are just 4 villas, all positioned higher up the hillside. Each has its own private swimming pool, and due to the elevated position, fantastic views.

There are 2 different villa categories. The standard 2 bedroom villas sleep up to 5 people, whilst the Superior 2 Bedroom Villas sleep up to 6. There are 2 of each type of villa, each named after a Greek lady.

The villas are reached via a fairly steep hill, which is important to consider when matching clients to the property.

For those who are comfortable with the location, being higher up is part of their appeal, providing fantastic views and a real sense of privacy.

There is 1 Ambassador Suite, accommodating up to 5 people.

This makes the hotel great for larger families who want something more luxurious than a traditional family resort. Importantly, it doesn‘t feel like a couples-only boutique hotel that simply accepts children. The hotel is passionate about giving families the same quality of accommodation and service that is often only associated with luxury adults-only properties.

There are some lovely additional touches too, including welcome gifts and complimentary room service.

Food and Drink - the hotel can be booked with either B&B, HB or FB.

The food was fantastic and plentiful, centred around fresh, homemade dishes (the tiramisu was divine!)

Spa & Wellness - The Spa is an important feature of the hotel, with people travelling to the hotel specifically to use its facilities. Hotel guests have complimentary access to the relaxation area and hot stone beds, which can be enjoyed without needing to make an appointment.

The jacuzzi, sauna and additional spa facilities and treatments are available at an extra charge.

Location - Parga Town and Lichnos Beach - the hotel sits in an elevated position outside Parga Town, which is around a 20 mins walk downhill, allowing guests to walk into town and enjoy the harbour, shopping, restaurants and bars. The closest beach is beautiful Lichnos Beach, which is approximately 15 mins walk downhill.

The hotel makes its location easy to manage by offering complimentary transfers on request, including Parga Town and Lichnos Beach. There is also a scheduled complimentary shuttle between the hotel and Parga at the time we visited the departures from the hotel were at 0915, 1835 and 1930, with returns from Parga at 0915, 1840, 1935 and 2230. Important to note this is flexible,e as you can also arrange a time too.

Who would Salvatore Suit?

Well suited to families looking for a more luxurious boutique-style holiday, especially families of 5 or 6 who can struggle to find quality accommodation together. The private pool villas are a standout option. If clients are ok with the steep hillside position, they offer privacy, plenty of space and fantastic views.

One thing to note about the villas is that 2 of the villas can be interconnecting, ng as they have a private gate between the gardens, so if a family group or a group of friends wanted to share,e they could do that here (up to 10 people).

The hotel is ideal for couples who want a smaller hotel, personal service, spa facilities in a peaceful setting while still having easy access to Parga Town.

This hotel is not for the less mobile due to the steep access, and likewise, clients who want to be near the beach or in the heart of the town may prefer another property.

Overall, this hotel left a lovely impression;n the staff were extremely friendly and gave a personal service, the homemade food was amazing, and the thoughtful little extras such as the complimentary transfers to the beach and town are a nice touch.
