Riverside Luxury Cruises - Riverside Debussy March 2026

Following the CLIA Riverview Conference in Amsterdam, we were invited to experience an overnight stay aboard the elegant Riverside Debussy, and it was the perfect showcase of modern river cruising at its finest and I cant wait to return!

A Suite Designed for Comfort

Our accommodation was a beautifully appointed suite, thoughtfully designed with comfort and river views in mind.

The highlight? A bed facing the window, allowing you to wake up to panoramic scenery drifting by, one of the joys of river cruising.

The spacious suite was so well equipped and felt more like a boutique hotel with its walk in wardrobe and contemporary bathroom.

Exceptional Butler Service

A standout element of the experience was the personalised service from Elvin, our dedicated butler. The level of attention was seamless and discreet, ensuring everything from refreshments to assisting with the wifi and set up of the suite was handled effortlessly. This is where Riverside’s luxury philosophy really shines, service that feels intuitive rather than intrusive.

Dining at the Highest Level

Dining onboard was exceptional. From beautifully prepared multi-course meals to thoughtfully curated drinks, the culinary experience matched and arguably exceeded expectations and was equivalent to some Michelin restaurants I have dined at. You have to try the gorgeous souffle with the hot Grand Marnier sauce poured at the table The atmosphere was refined yet relaxed, creating an environment where guests can truly unwind while enjoying high-end cuisine and attentive service.

Cruising to Zaandam

Our short sailing included a visit to Zaandam, where we enjoyed a guided walking tour. The town offers a mix of character, culture, and distinctive architecture a charming stop that complemented the onboard luxury perfectly.

Final Thoughts

Although it was only a one-night experience, it gave a fantastic insight into what makes Riverside Debussy so special: spacious accommodation, exceptional service, refined dining, and an elegant onboard atmosphere.

Quite simply we didn’t want to disembark.
