Luxurious stay at the Hotel Botanico & The Oriental Spa Garden
Nestled in the lush and tranquil surroundings of Tenerife, the Hotel Botánico & The Oriental Spa Garden holds a special place in my heart after my unforgettable stay. Located in the picturesque town of Puerto de la Cruz, this five-star resort seamlessly blends opulence, natural beauty, and world-class amenities to create an extraordinary experience. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a wellness retreat, or a family vacation, the Hotel Botánico has something for everyone. A Blend of Elegance and Comfort From the moment I stepped into the grand lobby of the Hotel Botánico, I was struck by its refined sophistication.
The hotel’s design marries classic European elegance with Asian-inspired décor, reflecting a unique cultural fusion that sets it apart. My room was thoughtfully designed to provide maximum comfort and style, featuring plush furnishings, modern amenities, and a private balcony with breathtaking views of Mount Teide and the hotel’s stunning gardens. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, from the high-quality linens to the serene ambience of the space. For those looking to indulge further, the suites offer even more luxury, including spacious living areas and exclusive services, ensuring a truly serene and rejuvenating stay.
The Oriental Spa Garden: A Sanctuary of Wellness One of the highlights of my stay was experiencing The Oriental Spa Garden, a world-renowned wellness centre that fully lives up to its reputation. Surrounded by lush greenery, koi ponds, and tropical flora, the spa exudes tranquillity,. The spa’s facilities are exceptional, with thermal pools, saunas, an ice temple, and a Japanese-style tea house. Yoga classes are both invigorating and calming, set against the serene backdrop of the gardens. Whether seeking relaxation or revitalization, The Oriental Spa Garden is truly unparalleled. Culinary Delights The dining experiences at Hotel Botánico were nothing short of spectacular. The Oriental served exquisite Asian cuisine in a beautifully designed setting, while Il Pappagallo offered delectable Italian dishes paired with breathtaking views of the coastline.
La Parrilla was my go-to for traditional Spanish flavours, including perfectly cooked grilled specialities, and Palmera Real provided a delightful spot for a light lunch by the pool. The chefs’ dedication to using fresh, high-quality ingredients and their attention to detail made every meal memorable. I was particularly impressed by how accommodating the culinary team was to dietary preferences, ensuring that every guest could enjoy a tailored dining experience. Award-Winning Gardens The Hotel Botánico’s gardens are a true masterpiece and a highlight of my visit.
Spanning over 25,000 square meters, the grounds are a serene escape filled with vibrant tropical flowers, tranquil water features, and shaded pathways. The gardens are not only visually stunning but also a testament to the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and conservation. I found it fascinating that many of the plants are native to the Canary Islands, adding to the authenticity of this beautiful oasis.
Activities and Experiences Beyond its luxurious accommodations and spa facilities, the Hotel Botánico offered a wide range of activities that made my stay even more enjoyable. Any golf enthusiast would appreciate the 18-hole putting green. The gym was well-equipped, and families seemed to enjoy the dedicated children’s club and pool area. For adventure, I ventured to Mount Teide National Park, which was just a short distance away. Exploring the volcanic landscapes and stargazing in the park was an unforgettable experience.
Puerto de la Cruz itself also offered charming streets and boutique shops. What truly sets the Hotel Botánico apart is its exceptional service. From the warm welcome I received at check-in to the attentive care throughout my stay, the staff’s dedication to hospitality was evident. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, whether arranging a private excursion or accommodating a last-minute request.
Having stayed at the Hotel Botánico & The Oriental Spa Garden, I can confidently say it is more than just a place to stay; it’s a destination where luxury, wellness, and natural beauty converge. With its exquisite accommodations, world-class spa, gourmet dining, and stunning gardens, it offers an unparalleled escape.
Whether you’re visiting Tenerife for leisure, romance, or rejuvenation, the Hotel Botánico promises an experience that will stay with you long after you leave.
