Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites and its Sister hotels Athena Beach and Athena Royal
So what a lovely trip hosted by the wonderful Constantinou Bros Team.
On arrival, we had a prompt transfer to the hotel with a wonderful welcome.
Champagne and canapes to start at check in .... no complaints.
Our rooms were One Bedroom Suites, which were so spacious they would even serve perfectly for wheelchair bound clients. Balconies and Bathrooms with full baths and large walk-in showers did not disappoint. Mini Bars are stocked and refilled daily with soft drinks and snacks.
Location is a Beachfront small cove and on the coastal path into Paphos. Paphos harbour is not far away. Now, my favourite parts of the trip are what I was most impressed with at the Asimina Suites.
The service was impeccable, the grounds were outstanding (a little smaller than I had envisioned ) pools were beautifully maintained, and the food at the à la carte Pool Restaurant was amazing, Steak!
Sunbeds were a perfect luxury with waiter drinks service. The Spa had affordable daily specials, and many took up the offers and were highly recommended. We ate at the Estia Restaurant on the Evening with Full Buffet offerings and cooking stations, always a huge selection. Seafood was fantastic.
Over the next few days, we visited the sister hotels a few minutes walk along the coastal path and excursions to the old town and up the hills into wine country, which was beautiful. These cultural tours are so important and highlight the local history. beautiful scenery and the friendliness of the local people.
The sister hotel, Athena Beach, is a 4-star plus and is very family orientated, and it‘s my kind of hotel. Really good food choices, different board options, and I also managed to speak with the lovely wedding co-ordinator for the hotel group, and he was full of information and available to hand when needed. This hotel features adult-only areas and Elite class options.
Any questions, let me know.
The other thing they were promoting was golf packages, as do the other hotels in the group. We ate lunch here, which was hosted and was described as similar to the wedding BBQ lunch ... let me tell you, it was amazing. Then we visited the Athena Royal, an adults-only hotel. Anyone for gin tasting on the rooftop elite bar, why not .....?
Again pools, service were fab and rooms were spotless. Then we had a Toga party, well, that was a sight ...the night consisted of costumes, beautiful food. fireworks and some wonderful Greek dancing. The one thing I hadn‘t considered about these hotels was BOWLS ... they have specialist bowling greens, hold European championships and boast, after recent expansion, 18 full-size rinks as well as 12 indoor short mat rinks across the hotels.
All arrangements for tournaments, games all taken care of with just a quick call or email.
This was my lightbulb moment that made these hotels have that something I had not known about personally before.
I made some fantastic new friends, new acquaintances, and most importantly, some wonderful in-resort contacts.
