An Incredible Escape on Azamara Quest Seville – Gibraltar – Malaga | 10–13 April 2026

Sometimes all you need is a few days away to create memories that last forever — and my recent cruise aboard the Azamara Quest was exactly that.

One of the things that made this trip so special was travelling on a smaller cruise ship. With a maximum of around 700 passengers onboard, Azamara Quest felt intimate, relaxed, and far more personal than the larger cruise ships. There were no huge crowds or long waits — just a calm, welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service throughout the voyage.

From 10th to 13th April 2026, I enjoyed an unforgettable 3-night voyage sailing from Seville to Gibraltar and Malaga, experiencing luxury, culture, incredible food, and breathtaking entertainment along the way.

Life Onboard the Azamara Quest

From the moment we stepped onboard, the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed. We stayed in a beautiful ocean view cabin, which made waking up each morning even more special as we watched the sea glide past from our window.

One of the highlights of cruising with Azamara was how much was included. The food and drink throughout the trip were excellent, with plenty of choice and consistently high quality. Every meal felt like part of the experience, whether enjoying a leisurely breakfast, relaxing with drinks onboard, or dining in the evening while watching the sunset over the Mediterranean.

What I loved most was how enriching the cruise felt. We learnt so much throughout the journey — from the destinations themselves to the stories, culture, and history shared during the voyage.

A Magical Evening in Gibraltar

Without doubt, the most unforgettable moment of the trip was in Gibraltar, where we experienced Azamara’s famous AzAmazing Evening.

We were taken to the stunning Saint Michael’s Cave, transformed into the most magical concert venue imaginable. Surrounded by dramatic rock formations and softly glowing candlelight, we enjoyed a beautiful live concert featuring incredible singing that echoed through the cave.

The atmosphere was simply breathtaking. The combination of music, history, and the natural beauty of the cave created an experience unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed. It felt intimate, emotional, and truly special — one of those travel moments you know you’ll remember forever.

Beautiful Destinations

Each stop brought its own charm.

Seville offered beautiful architecture, vibrant culture, and that unmistakable Spanish warmth.

Gibraltar amazed us with its dramatic scenery and unique blend of British and Mediterranean character.

And Malaga was the perfect ending to the trip, with its relaxed coastal atmosphere, sunshine, and beautiful surroundings.

Final Thoughts

Although it was only three nights, this cruise felt like a complete escape from everyday life. The exceptional service, fantastic food, comfortable accommodation, and unforgettable entertainment made it a truly incredible experience.

If you’re considering a cruise, I honestly can’t recommend this type of all-inclusive escape enough. Everything is taken care of, allowing you to completely relax, explore beautiful destinations, enjoy amazing food and entertainment, and simply switch off from the stresses of everyday life.

Azamara Quest delivered the perfect balance of relaxation, culture, luxury, and unforgettable experiences — and the magical evening in Saint Michael’s Cave will stay with me for years to come.

I came home with wonderful memories, new experiences, and was already dreaming about the next voyage.
