A Luxury Seaside Escape: My Stay at Parklane Cyprus

If you’re dreaming of a Mediterranean escape that blends luxury, comfort, and a true sense of place, Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Cyprus, should be firmly on your radar. Located just outside Limassol, just a 30 min easy drive from Larnaca airport, this beachfront resort offers the kind of slow, sun-soaked experience that makes travel feel meaningful rather than rushed.

From the moment I arrived, driving down the beautifully lit long driveway, Parklane felt calm and refined. The resort is beautifully designed, with open spaces, natural textures, and soft coastal tones that immediately reflect its seaside setting. Despite its scale, it never feels overwhelming—everything flows effortlessly, creating a sense of ease that sets the tone for the stay.

We stayed here for just 3 nights early December; we were blessed with beautiful weather, still lovely and warm compared to the UK, andit made for a perfect pre-Christmas Break. The hotel was decorated beautifully. This year‘s theme was stepping into a ' Magical Forest Experience '. The resort transformed its festive season into an enchanted woodland — think glowing lights woven through branches, music echoing like whispers among trees, and an immersive atmosphere that felt like discovering something hidden and wondrous.

Pools

One of the things I loved most about Parklane was how many beautiful water spaces there are — and how each one has its own vibe. Whether you’re craving peace, family fun, or a long swim, no matter the weather, there’s a pool made for that, including an adult-only area.

The standout outdoor pool for me was the seawater pool — it gives a totally different sensation from a typical freshwater one.

Spa

I truly believe a visit to this award-winning spa is essential. Whether you’re looking to unwind after travel, recover from sun-filled days, or simply take a pause from the world, Kalloni Spa offers an experience that’s deeply calming and genuinely restorative.

I had to try the Thalasso therapy session in 3 pools, which lasted for 1 hour and was 70 Euros. I had heard a lot about thalassotherapy before visiting Kalloni Spa at Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, but experiencing it firsthand was something entirely different. Using heated seawater and gentle hydro-massage, the session felt less like a treatment and more like a deep, full-body reset, after I was able to enjoy use of the Sauna and Steam room- pure bliss.

Room

Our Suite as magical in itself, pure luxury- we had a Panoramic suite with Sea View, a corner room, with a very large balcony, it consisted of a bedroom, a lounge area, a big hallway, a bathroom with double sink, and a rainfall, and mood lighting double shower overlooking the Ocean The mini bar is included if staying in this room type.

Staying in this suite made the entire Parklane experience feel even more special. It wasn’t just a place to return to at the end of the day; it became part of the journey. Waking up to the Mediterranean every morning and falling asleep to the sound of the sea is the kind of luxury that stays with you long after you leave.

Another bonus, if staying in this room type, you also benefit from Free use of the Cabanas, and the sunbeds at Nammos Beach bar ( subject to availability, which are usually chargeable at 150 Euros per pair.

Nammos Restaurant

Another Highlight was Dining at Nammos, which is a must if you’re staying at Parklane — or even if you’re just visiting the area. From the moment you arrive, Nammos feels vibrant and stylish. It brings a slice of Mykonos glamour to the Cypriot coast and adds a vibrant, unforgettable layer to the Parklane experience.

As the sun begins to set, the restaurant comes alive with music, laughter, and that signature Nammos buzz. ( seasonal )

The menu iscentredd around premium Mediterranean cuisine, with a strong focus on fresh seafood, high-quality ingredients, and bold yet elegant flavours. We actually had the most fabulous steak.

The setting is beautiful right by the sea, even more beautiful at Christmas time, the decoration inspired by the Courchevel Ski resort in France, with crisp white décor, natural textures, and an effortlessly chic atmosphere. Itelt very Christmassy and cosy here with the fire-style heaters and blankets.

Beach

The resort’s beach feels exclusive without being isolated. It was very clean, and the hotel raked the beach every night, ready for a new, fresh beach the next day.

Soft golden sand stretches along the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean, giving you plenty of space to lounge, stroll, or simply take in the view. Unlike crowded public beaches, here it’s easy to find a quiet corner for yourself, perfect for those early morning walks or sunset moments.

The beach staff are attentive and friendly, always ready with a chilled drink or a fresh towel.
