Beside the house, a covered terrace is furnished for al fresco dining, looking out to tranquil views and leading into the effortlessly elegant sitting room, enchanting country style dining room, and ancient vaulted billiard room. The villa has just been extensively refurbished including but not limited to new contemporary sofas and linens, new kitchen, new bath and shower rooms. And the house is a stroll away from a noted local restaurant La Cantinetta di Rignana and 8km from shops.

Guests can enjoy superb local cooking and finest wines at the restaurants in Greve just 8km away and there are further excellent restaurants at Panzano and other informal restaurants nestling in the countryside. The speciality food shops both here and in other local villages have a superb selection of these fine wines and other local specialities. The villa is within easy reach of some of the best wine producing estates in Chianti and guests can enjoy tastings at local wineries. The house is 33km from the sights of glorious Siena.
