Masseria di Stelle is in an ideal location for exploring the delights of Puglia, both its charming towns including Otranto and Lecce, and the stunning sandy beaches of the coast. The property is extremely comfortable and perfect for families, with a luxury country feel to the interiors. The accommodation in the main house is all on one floor, with a well-equipped kitchen and breakfast area, and a bright and spacious living/dining room with open fireplace. The beautiful master bedroom boasts a four poster bed and in-room copper bath, along with an en suite with walk-in shower. There are two further bedrooms in the main house, one with a four poster king size double bed and an en suite shower room, the other is an additional room with two single beds that connects with the Master bedroom.   In the guest house there is a double bedroom and a bedroom with twin beds (which can be put together to make a double) which share a shower room. Outside there is a covered veranda with soft seating, and a partly covered dining area with outdoor kitchen area and gas barbecue. A further bedroom suite is accessed from the courtyard. The outdoor living areas overlook the large private swimming pool and pretty patio area furnished with Vincent Sheppard furniture and sun loungers.

Shops and a great bakery can be found in Carpignano, and inexpensive informal family friendly restaurants can also be found in Carpignano and in and around other local villages. Many local villages host atmospheric food festivals and concerts. Beautiful sandy beaches including Alimini and Torre dell'Orso with beach clubs are within easy driving distance and surfing, kite surfing, SUP, kayaking can be enjoyed. Day trips on yachts can be enjoyed from Otranto during the season. Cycling is also very popular and bicycles (with guides if required) can also be hired. Salento, this area of southern Puglia is a unspoilt pocket of southern Europe dotted with beautiful towns, villages and superb restaurants. Interesting half day trips include visiting the picturesque old town and beaches of Otranto and Gallipoli and the magnificent baroque town and upmarket shopping of Lecce.
