A broad terrace runs the length of the villa, with panoramic views and a pergola shaded dining area, and steps lead down to a sixteen-metre swimming pool and poolside sun loungers. With vaulted ceilings, rustic roof rafters, and tiled floors scattered with colourful oriental rugs, the villa itself is equally inviting. Furnished in traditional Tuscan country house style, the main house has a modern kitchen; a comfy sitting room and a reading room with desk, sofa and piano, both with doors to the terrace; a TV/playroom, and a first floor loggia room with three arched windows forming fabulous triptych views. Five bedrooms include a triple and a single for youngsters; while the adjacent annexe has its own kitchenette and three bedrooms opening on to the garden. La Sassicaia is just 5km from an adventure park and 15km from town amenities, a sandy beach and seafront restaurants at Cecina. With two panoramic doube aspect bedrooms at the front on the first floor with adjacent children's bedrooms and a double in the annexe also with adjacent twin bedrooms, this is an ideal house for families or a multi-generational family travelling together.
