Here’s why AI will never replace what I do.

AI doesn’t get to know you. It doesn’t ask about your favourite beach vibe, whether you’re a foodie, or if you prefer boutique hideaways to big-name hotels. But I do.

We’ll have proper chats – not just forms and filters – so I can understand exactly what you want (and what you don’t) when you travel.

Your likes, dislikes, must-haves, and nice-to-haves… they all go into creating a trip that feels like it was made just for you. Because it was.

Can an AI bot meet you for coffee or over zoom to discuss your plans? - didn't think so!

I've taken all these years to build up a rapport with suppliers too - not something an AI bot could do.

Anyone can send you a generic “personalised” itinerary these days. But true tailoring comes from knowing what matters to you – not what an algorithm thinks someone like you might like.

With 25+ years of experience, I combine instinct, listening, and knowledge to make your trip unforgettable. No two trips I plan are ever the same – because no two people are.

I don’t just rely on Google or review sites. I work with trusted local experts who live in the places you want to visit. These aren’t random contacts – they’re long-time partners who genuinely care about your experience.

That kind of insider info? You can’t search for it – you’ve got to know who to ask for it.

Travel isn’t always smooth sailing. Flights get cancelled, plans change, the weather doesn’t always play nice (remember the ash clouds)

Also, it was only a short time ago that the world ground to a standstill due to the Covid 19 pandemic - who was it that spent hours on the phone repatriating stranded clients, getting them home and making sure they received refunds?

Not a robot, that's for sure! It was me that spent hundreds of hours (unpaid) undoing all my 2020 bookings, ensuring my clients were looked after.

And when things do go wrong? You don’t want to be stuck on hold with a chatbot or waiting for an email reply from a help desk in another time zone.

You want someone who knows your trip inside out – and can step in, quickly and calmly, to sort it.

That’s me and it's what I'm best at.

Look, I’m not anti-tech. AI has its uses.

But it doesn’t have empathy.

It doesn’t care if your honeymoon is magical or if your wellness retreat is exactly what you needed after a tough year.
