The Beautiful Secrets Moxche, Playa Del Carmen

A really nice 5 star Adult Only All Inclusive, Beachfront and only 15 minutes from Playa del Carmen. 7 swimming pools including 3 man-made cenote‘s for those wishing for more privacy... Although a large hotel with 485 rooms its is very well designed to feel spacious and loads of sunbathing options. Worth upgrading to the Preferred Club rooms as this gives you access to the roof top pool ( infinity) and there is also a lovely restaurant up there that serves a fab breakfast and lunch (food closes at 5pm, bar at 8pm). There are 10 restaurants in total, 7 A la Carte ( including the preferred club roof top), a grill, cafe and the buffet ( which is amazing too) You can also have 24 hour room service. We stayed 3 nights and had 2 breakfasts & 1 lunch at the roof top restaurant, 1 breakfast & 1 lunch in buffet and the evenings we tried Mexican, Italian and French - all really good. One thing to note, you can‘t prebook the A la Carte restaurants so if you go at peak times you are given a pager. There is a sports bar which as the name states shows all sport and a few nights a week has Karaoke, 7 other bars including 1 swim up pool bar, there is also a Theatre which has nightly shows, then there is a nightclub which has a DJ until 1am -this made me laugh as you can't find the entrance as you have to go through the pharmacy and they ask for the daily secret password to get in !! Our Room was superb - A preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View, they have a lovely bath tub on the balcony, Really spacious room with well stocked minibar, safe, bathrobe and slippers, another thing I loved is you have a 'secret box' so if you order room service they put it in the box from the outside so you don't have to open the door !! Other benefits of upgrading to Preferred Club are personal concierge service,private check in and out, access to the preferred club lounge which offers daily continental breakfast and afternoon snacks and access to preferred club lounge daily from 10am til 11pm - as well as roof top pool, bar and restaurant. Impressions is a seperate building within the complex, I only managed to get into the main area/ bar so only got a couple of pictures, Impressions guests have full access to all facilities at Secrets above as well as another rooftop pool, personal butler, no set check in/out time and another 3 restaurants to choose from. I would definitely return to this lovely resort
