Cushioned in the calm of a tree-cloaked hillside, and gazing across a beautiful bay to the mainland beyond, from the outside this delightful house looks traditionally Corfiot, compact, colour-washed and country style. So the airy and arty interiors come as a surprise. Very contemporary and furnished with flair, the rooms are spacious and uncluttered, their cool-toned décor enhanced with oriental rugs and striking artworks. The spacious sitting room has high ceilings and doors to a covered veranda which hems the poolside terrace, where steamer chairs are strategically placed around the infinity pool. The dining room and two of the bedrooms also open on to the poolside, while the villa’s lower ground floor contains two double bedrooms, one of which is en suite, and a separate shower room. A rough path, overgrown in places, leads you to a beach with a boat mooring and tavernas at Avlaki just a ten minute walk away. Guests staying at Villa Vinita benefit from concierge service and breakfast service.
