Hermitage Bay

There is one restaurant and bar that border the sweeping sandy beach. The cuisine features the best, highest quality and freshest ingredients with menus changing daily.

A cooking course/demonstration is offered once a week by the main pool – a fantastic opportunity to see how your favourite dishes are prepared using some of the produce from the organic kitchen garden.

If you feel like doing something more active than soaking up the sun on the beach or by the pool, a range of complimentary watersports are available including kayaking, windsurfing, snorkelling, sunfish and Hobie cat sailing. A range of PADI certified diving courses can be taken and snorkelling equipment is provided free of charge. There are no motorised sports as the hotel wish to protect the peace and tranquility of the resort.

Overview
All suites have gorgeous day beds, free standing baths and open air showers. Some of the hillside suites also have their own plunge pools and sunbathing deck. Amenities include air conditioning, ceiling fans, flat screen TV, DVD player and complimentary bathing and skincare products.

Beachfront and Garden Suites

Beachfront Suites occupy a prime position right on the soft white sand of Hermitage Bay and have unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea.

Rooms are spacious and split level with open-plan living and sleeping area, ensuite bathroom, outdoor shower, shaded sun-deck with small dining area, double day bed and plantation chairs.

Garden Suites are identical to Beachfront Suites but are situated one row back from the beach. Wonderful sea views can be seen between the Beachfront Suites.

Hillside Pool Suites

Enjoy wide panoramas of the Caribbean Sea and the verdant landscape surrounding the hotel with the lush foliage around each suite providing optimal privacy for guests.

Suites have a private sundeck and plunge pool, wrap around covered deck, sun loungers, double day bed, sofa, small dining table and plantation chairs.

Restaurants


The Executive Chef and his team at Hermitage Bay use fresh, high quality, locally sourced ingredients to bring you the best Modern European Cuisine along with Caribbean dishes and American classics. Menus change daily so there’s always the opportunity to try something different. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be taken on the patio right on the beach under the shade of the almond trees.

Dinners at the restaurant are more formal, with romantic lighting, candles and live music.

If you have a special occasion to celebrate, you could enjoy a candlelit dinner for two with a dedicated waiter service right at the water’s edge or on your own private terrace.

The Lounge Area next to the bar is a great place to sit back and unwind with your favourite drink or a good book while you listen to the gently lapping waves.
