This luxury, five star beach resort is located in what most people would describe as ‘an idyllic spot’ on the sandy beach of Vathi, just 7 kilometres away from Aghios Nikolaos and 75 kilometres away from Heraklion International airport – translated into a transfer time from airport to resort of approximately one hour. From the Cove you will enjoy magical views of the Mediterranean, a lovely sandy beach and beautiful natural surroundings, which Crete is so famous for.

There is a wealth of accommodation options to choose from at Daios Cove from the Deluxe Sea View Rooms to the those room and suite options with private pools. The villa options provide more space and are ideal for larger families, for those guests looking for a wellness experience there is a two bedroom ‘wellness’ villa option with Finnish Sauna and treadmill!

During your stay at Daios Cove you may want to schedule in time for a spa treatment (or two!) The spa offers a range of spa packages and treatments in tranquil and luxurious surroundings.

There are three restaurants to choose from in resort including two a la carte options. The hotel has three bars to choose from including the Beach Bar and uber trendy and contemporary Crystal Box where you can indulge in a cocktail and take in the sunset.

Villa guests benefit from all the services provided by the Cove Club. Breakfast is served in the Ocean Restaurant, there is a ‘villas‘ section on the beach, dedicated guest concierge, daily newspapers, a designated parking area, booking facility for the resorts restaurants (including priority status) and a private heated sea water pool.

The resort is a firm favourite with families who value the amazing crèche and Kids Club which is supervised by UK childcare experts. The beach is child friendly, plus there is a babysitting service available to make sure that every member of the holiday gets a chance to rest and relax.

The Crèche takes care of children between the ages of 4 months and 4 years – this is a chargeable facility and needs to be pre-booked.

The Children’s Club caters for the 4 – 12 year olds, and for the older children there is a program of activities to make sure the incentive is there for everyone to get out and to make new friends. The team responsible for providing child care are multi-lingual and are trained to ensure that the children have fun whilst remaining safe and secure. 24 hour medical care is available, there are children’s menus, an outdoor playground, a kids friendly beach and more...

Villas

The Villas at the Daios Cove all enjoy a superb location and benefit from having their own private pool, balcony and terrace. The villas are suitable for parties of differing sizes with even the smallest villa being able to accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children, the largest villa – a three bedroom option suitable for up to six adults or 2 adults and up to 5 children (perfect for larger families or family groups).

For villa guests there is the additional benefit of having all that The Cove Club has to offer. From breakfast in the Ocean Restaurant to a dedicated section of the beach there are lots of other lovely touches including a choice of pillows, newspapers, designated villa guest parking area, guest concierge along with a private, heated swimming pool.  

Restaurants


Ocean Restaurant: This is where villa guests can enjoy their breakfast. By night this sophisticated Italian restaurant offers an extensive la carte menu with a fine dining “twist”. Pre-booking at the Ocean is typically a must. The Ocean Restaurant overlooks the cove and the infinity pool.

The Taverna: Is everything (and more) that you would expect to find at a traditional Greek Taverna with the added benefit that it enjoys an amazing view of the cove. Given the restaurants sea side setting it probably isn't that surprising that the Taverna offers a wide selection of Greek dishes with a focus on fresh, locally caught fish. This is a perfect spot for a romantic dinner.

Pangea: Offers an international buffet menu. Pangea literally translates in Greek to “all of the earth”, this gives you an idea of the range of the buffet, all enjoyed in a lovely setting. The great thing about a buffet offering is the special theme nights which ensures you palate will always have something to look forward to.
