This modern, architect-designed house is nestled into the hill looking out over a splendid, and rarely visited, inlet-dotted stretch of south facing Mediterranean coast. The outdoor spaces are the real draw of this property, with a large paved terrace in front of the house leading down to the stunning private infinity pool, both perfectly placed to take in the incredible views of the coastline and out to sea. The decking area that surrounds the pool is the ideal spot to relax on a sun lounger, glass of wine in hand. Pretty Mediterranean gardens flank the property, rosemary and lavender perfuming the air. A second partly shaded terrace planted with some scented shrubs trees can be found at mezzanine level, with an outdoor dining area and barbecue, and there is also a prettily tiled roof terrace for panoramic evening drinks.Inside, the living space is modern but homely, with a comfortable and very spacious open plan lounge/dining area and kitchen opening out to the terrace. Very high ceilings and large glass doors give an airy feel and bring the views indoors while touches of colour add a sense of fun. A few steps lead to a shower room with utility area and a few further steps lead to the mezzanine level with access to the rear and upper terrace and from there to the double and twin bedroom. A modern bathroom is shared by the bedrooms, and there is a shower room which also serves the living area. A charming self-contained suite has been recently built in the basement with a very comfortable suite with a spacious private bathroom. This is furnished with modern design furniture. The house is in a fine location for a family holiday, with many sandy beaches and beach establishments easily accessible and the historic seafront town of Sciacca with ample shops and restaurants just 3km away and the temples of Agrigento, Selinunte and Segesta within easy reach.
