This remote lodge isset against the backdrop of the snow-capped peaks of the Humboldt Mountains and is well placed for guests who are keen to explore the Southern Lakes and Fiordland.

There's so much to see and do that you really are spoilt for choice; see Milford Sound and Fiorland by helicopter, take a leisurely stroll or four-day hike, enjoy a game of golf at Jack's Point golf course, explore the Wine & Arts Trail, ride the high country on horseback or even try a heli-skiing trip.

After a day exploring, the lodge has the perfect place to unwind - the Blanket Bay Spa which features a therapy suite, steam rooms and a Jacuzzi with lake and mountain views. There's also a gym and, during the summer months, guests can take a dip in the outdoor heated lap pool.

Dinner is served in the elegant Evening Dining Room where you can savour the daily-changing menu of gastronomic dishes which feature fine local produce. Of course, the wine selection is superb with Blanket Bay having selected the best New Zealand wines for guests to enjoy.

Accommodation is split between ultra-comfortable Lodge Rooms and Suites located in the Main Lodge and romantic Chalet Suites which are set in the gardens.
