The Anassa is situated in a quiet and picturesque area of the Akamas Peninsula in northwestern Cyprus. The hotel overlooks a magnificent sandy bay between Latchi harbour and the Baths of Aphrodite. The resort has the look and feel of a typical Cypriot village with classical low rise buildings and tropical gardens arranged round a Byzantine chapel and village square.

The one kilometre long Asprokremnos beach is a perfect venue for a leisurely day on the beach with the added benefit of having a sports centre for those guests looking for more of a challenge.

Dining options are plentiful at the Anassa and include an excellent choice of local Cypriot specialities and exquisite international cuisine.

Anassa Hotel

The hotel has a fantastic golden beach, plus two spectacular swimming pools linked by waterfalls. There’s also an indoor pool and exercise pool. There are two flood-lit tennis courts and you can book tennis ‘clinics’ or private lessons if you wish, or there’s a squash court if that’s more your game. Bikes can also be reserved if you’re a cycling enthusiast.

A range of watersports are available including wakeboarding, canoeing, windsurfing, jet-skiing and sailing. The hotel has a PADI Five Star Gold Palm diving centre, which has two custom-built dive boats that are used for transfers to reefs and to gain access to underwater cave sites.

There are four 18 hour golf courses within a forty minute drive of the hotel.

The Thalassa Spa is a Roman-style health retreat offering a wide range of programmes designed to promote long-term benefits. The spa has 18 treatment rooms, an indoor pool, a seawater exercise pool, relaxation room, squash court, steam baths, fitness room and hair salon.

There’s a range of spa packages and programmes plus beauty treatments, couples treatments, junior treats for younger guests as well as an extensive range of massages, therapies, facials, body treatments and thalassotherapy programmes.

You could also work with a personal fitness instructor in the gym or enjoy a personal or group yoga session.

Every room and suite is air-conditioned and is equipped with TV, minibar, safe, hair dyer and bathrobes. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort. A number of the rooms are also interconnecting providing a perfect choice for families.

Garden View Room

Garden View Rooms are located in the main resort building. These lovely rooms have garden views and can accommodate a maximum of two guests and a baby cot.

Studio Suites can be found in the main building. The Suites are bright and have been designed in a distinctive Mediterranean style.  A number of interconnecting Suites are available and if required they can accommodate one extra bed or a bed cot.

Garden Studio Suite

Garden Suites are located in groups of residences within the grounds of the hotel. There are options to have a Garden Suite with a pool (heated during the winter months) interconnecting suites. These suites are large enough to accommodate one extra bed or a cot.

Junior Suite

Junior Suites are found within the main building and within individual residences. There is a lounge area with a sea view, Mediterranean furnishings and lovely louvered doors (found in many of the rooms and suites). Some of the Junior Suites interconnect with Garden Studio Suites. There is the option to have a Junior Suite with Pool.

One Bedroom Suite

One Bedroom Suites are located in the main building and overlook the lovely gardens. The rooms are light and spacious with a separate bathroom located off the living room and certain suites have a fireplace. Each suite has a balcony or terrace with sweeping views of the Mediterranean. The suites are large enough to accommodate an extra bed or cot.

Pool Suites and two bedroom suite are available.

Restaurants

Basilko: The signature gourmet restaurant of Anassa. Enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner or a dinner amongst friends. Serves Asian cuisine with a hint of Mediterranean flavour.

Helios: A fine dining restaurant serving French Riviera cooking. À la carte and table d'hôte menus are offered.

Amphora: Casual dining of a selection of starters and salads, a variety of hot dishes and a decadent dessert buffet. Enjoy the live cooking stations and the open-air terrace provides magnificent sea views during the summer months.

Pelagos: Al fresco dining overlooking the main pool and sparkling sea.  Serves Mediterranean and Cypriot cuisine, fresh local seafood, salads, pastas and mezze.
