Inspired by the laid-back elegance of its famous counterparts in Formentera and Ibiza, this Barcelona outpost is a sophisticated urban escape complete with white sand, hammocks, loungers, and Balearic beats.

It felt more like a luxury resort than a city hotel, and judging by the atmosphere, it’s already a hit with both hotel guests and stylish locals. The menu showcases a Basque-Mediterranean fusion with a strong focus on premium seafood. Around me, I saw dishes like grilled lobster, mussels, seafood rice, and prawns being served, and they looked absolutely incredible.

Although I’m not vegetarian myself, I happened to go meat and fish-free that day, and I was really impressed by the vegetarian options available. I enjoyed a light and flavourful burrata with heirloom tomatoes, grilled vegetables with romesco sauce, and a fresh, zesty salad that perfectly suited the sunny garden setting. Everything was beautifully presented and full of flavour—and the team were more than happy to tailor dishes to my preferences.
